HERITAGE CERAMICS APPROACH TO STORYTELLING

Heritage Ceramics employs story telling and Dramatic
Enactment (acting out roles) in fullfillment of an important
educational criteria,
nurturing young minds with vivid
storylines and interesting moral ,cultural and social
references, all with the aim of moulding and shaping the
minds of the future. And as far as cross cultural experiences
are concerned listening to and partaking in stories ,tales,
fables and myths from other cultures aside from ones own
only helps set a foundation for well grounded leaders of tomorrow.

BACKGROUND
African Storytelling is an essential part of cultural
studies, in that it has many roles and serves many
important purposes.
Like for instance it was through story telling that
many good customs and cultural practices were
passed on from generation to generation in families
from Grandparents to children, and from Mothers
and fathers to their offspring, thus maintaining links
with their rich HERITAGE and Culture.
Also via listening and questioning ,helps to lay the
foundations of basic communication for the future
and beyond into adult life.
